Happy 10th Birthday, Stroll on State

Illinois Bank & Trust Announces 3-Year Extension of Presenting Sponsorship for Rockford’s Beloved Holiday Celebration

ROCKFORD, IL – June 14, 2022 – As the event prepares to celebrate its tenth birthday, the Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce Illinois Bank & Trust has extended its presenting sponsorship of Stroll on State for three additional years. The holiday tradition that turns downtown Rockford into a winter wonderland and gathers residents and visitors together to kick-off the holidays will again take place Saturday, November 26.

The announcement was made Thursday at a special summertime Stroll preview event at Lino’s for event sponsors, volunteers and partners.

Since 2015, Illinois Bank & Trust has played an integral role in bringing holiday cheer to the region as a presenting sponsor. “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with RACVB to bring Stroll on State to life,” said Jeff Hultman, CEO of Illinois Bank & Trust. “This event has become a valued tradition for families in the region, and we love being a part of making it happen.”

Per tradition, the event will feature a parade, multiple tree lighting ceremonies, fireworks, free ice skating and so much more! Generous sponsors allow RACVB to present the event as a free gift to the community.

“Stroll on State exemplifies what we can do when we come together as a community. From the sponsors to the volunteers to the attendees, this event wouldn’t be possible without everyone contributing to the holiday magic in making it happen. We are grateful to everyone who makes Stroll possible, including our important and ongoing partnership with Illinois Bank & Trust. We couldn’t do it without them,” said John Groh, RACVB President/CEO.
